There are many conclusions in reference to the bridge choice. The aluminum seems to have higher level of vibration transfer creating more punch but having less sustain.

Maple bridge will compete nearly the same way with addition of preserving warmer tone and more sustain – less punch? probably can not tell the difference if so.
KK Baby Bass applies both – it is a personal preference of sound requirement and how versatile the bass is to be. Perhaps putting it down to sound choice will spell strings type along with the bridge selection.
