BRIDGE – Maple vs Aluminium ?

There are many conclusions in reference to the bridge choice. The aluminum seems to have higher level of vibration transfer creating more punch but having less sustain.

… “Punch” is defined as having more initial amplitude at the beginning of the note, which in other words means a note is louder at the initial moment the sound is produced

Maple bridge will compete nearly the same way with addition of preserving warmer tone and more sustain – less punch? probably can not tell the difference if so.

KK Baby Bass applies both – it is a personal preference of sound requirement and how versatile the bass is to be. Perhaps putting it down to sound choice will spell strings type along with the bridge selection.
